José A. Guzmãn, NCARB, AIA

President

Mr. Guzmãn is a design and construction management executive with over twenty years of diverse experience in the building industry. His career has bridged all aspects of design and construction management in both the public and private sectors.

Mr. Guzmãn obtained his BArch degree in 1986 from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently licensed to practice architecture in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects and the Architectural Woodwork Institute. He is a board member of Artists for Humanity, an arts-based entrepreneurship organization for teens located in Boston, MA.

Marc J. Prüfer

Vice President

Mr. Prüfer is a design and construction management executive with over twenty three years of diverse experience in the building industry. His career has extended into most aspects of design and construction management in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Prüfer has a great depth of understanding relative to legal aspects and requirements of designing and constructing public facilities, specifically, Massachusetts General Laws, c149, § 44A through 44M and Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004. Additionally, he is well versed in The State’s Building Codes: 780CMR, 521CMR, 524CMR, 248CMR and the model codes: BOCA and IBC as well as NFPA.

Mr. Prüfer attended the Bachelor of Architecture Program at the University of Oklahoma and the Boston Architectural Center. He has served his hometown of Millis as a Member of its Permanent Building Committee (MPBC), Chairman of its Master Plan Implementation Committee responsible for the Town’s Economic Development Overlay District and is currently a member of the Millis Historic Commission.

Ândrea L. Pereira

Ms. Pereira is an Architecture Student from the Federal University of Mato Grosso in Brazil who assists us on all aspects of our architectural designs, from presentations for clients to working with the construction team. Her main skills include web design and working with softwares such as AutoCAD and SketchUP.
